IACMI Names Dale Brosius as Interim CEO
IACMI is pleased to announce that Dale Brosius has been appointed interim CEO effective April 1, 2022. Dale replaces John Hopkins who is stepping down after leading the organization for more than four years. Dale has been a foundational part of IACMI since its origins and brings proven experience, expertise, and stability to the IACMI leadership role. From the Institute’s inception, and even prior to his being named chief commercialization officer in February 2015, Dale has played a key role establishing IACMI, growing and serving our consortium membership, and ensuring success in meeting our Department of Energy objectives.

Congresswoman Haley Stevens Tours IACMI SuRF in Detroit
It was great to host U.S. Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) for “Manufacturing Monday” on March 14 at IACMI Scale-up Research Facility (SuRF) in Detroit. Managed by Michigan State University, SuRF’s extensive large-scale equipment and resources help transform R&D ideas into commercial innovations. We were pleased to have Michigan Economic Development Corporation CEO Quentin Messer Jr. and Ford’s Patrick Blanchard participate in meetings and a tour of the facility.
