Expanding IACMI Portfolio Drives New Staff Growth
As we enter 2024, our team at IACMI is growing and ready to make an even bigger impact in U.S. manufacturing. Since October, we have hired 14 additional positions in workforce development, program management, finance, accounting, and communications to help grow some very important initiatives for the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense. In addition to advancing composites with our 140+ members, IACMI is addressing the critical workforce needs in forging and casting, as well as machine tool technology in CNC machining, metrology, and cybersecurity. We’re scaling up K-12 programs, setting up internships, developing training for skilled trades and apprentices, and organizing hands-on, experiential learning. It’s time to reimagine and revitalize what it means to be an American maker.
